Wow, this one just hits differently right from the first sip. You get that initial wave of old, dried-out honey, really thick and beautiful. Then the smoke comes in - not a blast, but more like a distant peat smoke influence that just wraps around everything. It's so wonderfully harmonious. The texture is heavier, almost like honey-roast root vegetables, but there's this immutable freshness cutting through, maybe from verbena or delicate herbal and fruit teas. I keep thinking of matcha and sandalwood, and those underlying dried citrus fruit notes are just beautiful and utterly charming. ✨ It's poetically complex, with these delicate mineral impressions like beach pebbles, and hints of furniture waxes and very old herbal and honey liqueurs. The finish is quite long, with that stamina of character, letting the medicinal qualities and camphor really shine. Honestly, it's just effortlessly quaffable. For something with such natural strength and depth, like the transmuted peat and old dry Riesling vibes, it's amazing how fresh and vibrant it remains. A truly great one. 🥃

Honestly, poured myself a glass and it's this beautiful light gold colour. The nose is just... herbs and herbal teas at first, then these little wild flowers come through, maybe some tiny berries too. What gets me is how it feels – brimming with minerals, but also this rich, oily texture that coats everything. It’s so layered, some flavours are like great white wines I’ve had, others are just... for which we don't even have analogies. You know that feeling? The smoke has totally vanished, transmuted into something else entirely. It’s a sublime medley, a real ode to time. There are these molecules never before tasted on my tongue, like unknown substances from another dimension entirely. Almonds maybe, but then it’s all swallowed by the whole experience. The unfathomable subtlety is just... wow. I mean, what’s the point of resisting? It’s superb, that vegetal, herbal core dancing with everything else. An interplay of molecules that feels almost like an ode to those older Islay whiskies, but heading off in its own direction. Just sitting here, savouring every bit. ✨

Quite soft and mellow, with a bit of honey, dried fruit and gentle oak. There’s a wee spicy kick, then it goes creamy and warm. Nice easy dram for a quiet evening 🥃✨

Fruity, rich, sort of dried figs and a whiff of cinamon. Then this lovely waxy, nutty vibe – almost like walnut loaf. 🍞 Bit of oaky spice at the end, not too fierce. Touch of caramell and vanila. 🍯 Lingers proper, makes yer cheeks warm. Definately a fireside sipper. 🔥

Warm and mellow, with a bit of honey, soft oak and a wee spicy tingle. Feels cosy rather than shouty — nice slow sipper by the fire 🥃✨
