Pale gold in the glass, proper classic young Speysider from ex-sherry cask. Nose is all raisins and this lovely cake-y maltiness right away, then baked peaches and a whiff of mirabelle tarte. Touch of heather honey drifting in. Slightly struck matches vibe, but in a good way – keeps it lively. Taste brings bitter chocolate, brownies, and baked pears that melt into a soft rose-petal note, like Linkwood’s Turkish delight thing. Gets a wee bit earthy underneath, with layered roasted nuts and just a hint of burnt cake edges. Finishes malty and sweet, with more of those peaches. Really good, honest easy-going sipper. Perfect 85-point material. 🍑🌹🍫

Crackin' dram, this. 🥃 First sniff's all honey'd nuts and a whiff of sea breeze. 🌊🌰 Sip hits... ooft. That oily, coat-yer-mouth feel. Like stewed apples with a shake of cinnamon. 🍎✨ Bit of a warm, peppery prickle at the back – not harsh, just… cuddly heat. 🔥 Finish hangs about like a good mate. A drift of woodsmoke and a faint, salty caramel thing. Makes ye wanna just sit and sigh. 😌

Alright, so this one... hmm. 🤔 First sip, it's quite mellow, innit? 😌 Tastes like dried fruit, sultanas maybe, with a bit of that warm spice kick – cinnamon or nutmeg? Quite comforting, like a hug in a glass. 🤗 Then you get this nice sweetness coming through. Not sugary, more like honey or toffee? Smooth. There's a gentle woody note too, like old oak. After a minute, a hint of vanilla pops out. 🍯 The finish is medium-long. A bit of citrus zest lingers, like orange peel, and then... a touch of dark chocolate bitterness right at the very end. Lovely! 🍊🍫 Overall, quite a balanced dram. Easy to sip. 👍

Just tried this whiskey, and it's bloody proper nice! Starts with a smoth hit of peat and a bit of spice, then mellows into sweet honey and vanilla. Really warmin' on a chilly evenin'. 😋 Almost forgot the oak notes – craky but lovely. Cheers! 🥃

Blimey, this whisky's proper intriguing! First sip, you get a peaty, smokey sort of vibe 🔥, like a bonfire in the distance. Then there's a burst of fruity sweetness – maybe apples or honey 🍯 – with a hint of vanilla. Towards the end, a bit of spicy warmth, like cinnamon or pepper. Really smooth going down, makes you wanna savour it. 😊
