Nosing it first, there’s a wee bit of grassy freshness right up front, which quickly gives way to that lovely, excellent maltiness. Oh, it’s just so comforting. Sipping away, it’s all butterscotch and vanilla swirling together. You know that vanilla fudge you get at seaside shops? That’s it, exactly. There’s a lovely zesty malt note in there too, keeping it lively. It feels so pure and clean on the tongue, almost like creamy barley. And right at the end, I’m getting this sweet, baked pear cake note. Really delightful. 😊

Just had a dram – it's so clean and pure, with vanilla and fudge notes that blend into creamy barley. Really reminds me of pear cake, and the extra 5% vol don’t feel at all, smooth as anything. A wee bit more marzipan would be lovely, but that wee bit grassy touch keeps it fresh. Only some mad soul would give another score to a barrel that’s so similar, but this one’s got me smiling! 😊

Warm and cosy dram 🥃 I get soft vanilla, a bit of toffee, dried fruit and gentle oak. There’s a wee spicy tingle, but it stays smooth and easy-going. Nice slow sipper for a quiet evening.

Wow, this one's got a real smoky edge, with some sweet fruit coming through. Feels really balancd. 🥃✨ A touch of vanilla and oak, maybe? Very drinkabl. 👍 Got that classic peaty kick, but it's smooth on the palat. Nice warmth too. 🔥😊

Ooft, this one's a proper journey! 🥃 First off, get a big whiff of... burnt sugar & old leather? Like a posh bonfire. 🔥 Then you have a sip – it’s all warming spice, like cinnamon, but then... whoa, a hit of dark chocolate & maybe some stewed plums. Rich stuff. The finish? It just lingers, like, forever. A bit of oak, a whisper of vanilla, and this lovely, gentle smokiness that just hangs about. It’s a chewy dram, that’s for sure. Makes you slow down and just savour it. Top notch. 👍
