First sniff is really elegant — fresh pomelos, citrons, a whisper of very, very little peat. Like a white wine breeze. Then it opens up totally full of citrus: grapefruit, blood oranges, tart and yet deep. On the palate it’s wonderly creamy and citrusy, like sourdough porridge with mashed carrots and potatoes? Odd combo but it works. Smoked almonds come through, maybe a touch of balsa wood. Very subtle. Just a hint of new fabric and something green — asparagus? Gets smokier by the minute though. There’s some kind of coitus interruptus that does not end badly — it just builds, pauses, then finishes with crystallised angelica and a medium tense fade. Quite elegant overall. One note: does not like water at all. Please do not add too much water! 👀
