Wow, this dram's got a sublime complexity and elegance – coastal notes hit me like a British seashore breeze. Disgracefully beautiful! Wildflowers and blossoms swirl in, with those classic hallmarks of smoke and peat, but totally different again, you know? Farmyard and seashore notes blend into liquid art. Forest of resins and gentian root, endless depth. Smoked oats, orange peel, and moss mix with crushed sea salt and bergamot. Honeycomb sweetness and an emotional pull, with a subtle elevation in beauty. Texture like ointment or motor oil. Cavern of earthy and bubbling peats, grilled langoustines, and natural tar come through. Velvety sheen of gorse and ferns. Infuriatingly good! Just a single drop sharpens everything and makes it sing more exquisitely. Old rope lingers. 😌

Right then, poured a dram of this amber beauty. First sip? It's like aged mead blended with a hint of Motor oil – thick and luxurious, but not in a bad way. The coastal notes hit me straight away, like a walk on a wild beach with dried seaweed underfoot. There's a cavern of earthy and bubbling peats opening up, but it's not aggressive. It’s more like... a deep, smouldering campfire smell. I'm getting flashes of wildflowers and bracken from a hillside, almost a delicate farmyard vibe. Then, a surprising swirl of bergamot and that fragrant quince jelly note in the background – proper elegant. The peat is louder here but also deep and outrageously silky. It coats the mouth. There's a wild, forest of resins thing going on, mingled with precious hardwoods and a velvety sheen of gorse. It’s haunting. Honestly, it’s unrepeatable. The finish is endless, with grilled langoustines, honeycomb, and a subtle ointment quality. It's a poem in a glass. 🌀 Easy to balk at the prices paid for these bottles now, but after a sip like this... you get it. ✨

The nose is totally stunning – it assaults your nostrils quickly with hints of cider and bitter oranges, along with superb oaky notes. 😊 Mouthfeel is extremely good, super waxy with milk chocolate and some caramel coming through. The attack is beautiful, very similar to the nose in style, and it's just a tad darker than usual. Not too smoky, but lots of waxy notes and a touch of white pepper. The finish is long, bold and balanced – incredible indeed! Pepper sauce again, and overall it feels like perfection in a glass. 🥃

Ooh, this one's got that lovely smoky peat note 😍 Really smooth on the tounge, mind. Reminds me of toffee apples and a hint of vanilla, you know? Maybe a bit of warm cinnamon spice at the end... Propper autumn in a glass. 🥃

Ah, that first sip hits like a campfire on a chilly night 🔥 smoky and a bit rough. Then comes this sweet apple note 🍎, kinda tart, but nice. Feels smooth sliding down, with a warm nutty aftertaste. 🥜 mmm, I like it. Sometimes there's a bit of a spicy kick too, y'know? Like cinnamon or somethin'. 🌶️ But overall, it's a proper cozy dram. 😊
