Tried this one neat last night and honestly... proper lovely stuff 👌 First sip - big hit of smoke, like a bonfire on a crisp autumn evening. Then this gorgeous caramel sweetness kicks in, almost like butterscotch. Really warming on the chest 🔥 Fruity notes come through after a wee while - apples maybe? And definitley some vanilla in there. Got that classic oak barrel thing going on too. The finish is quite long, bit of spice and something earthy. Maybe a touch of honey? Mrs said the kitchen smelled like it for hours after I poured a dram 😂 Would pair beautifuly with a square of dark chocolate imo. Perfect for a rainy night in with the telly on. Not too harsh either, quite smoothe for what it is. 7.5/10 would buy again 🥃
