Had a wee dram of something special last night. First thing that hits you is that polished oak, proper old wood, but not in a tired way – it talks first, then all these farmy notes roll in. Wet grass, lovely grassiness, a real earthy humus thing going on. Almost like walking through a field after rain. Surprisingly fresh for its age. Got this light amber colour in the glass, and the fruit’s all mangos and marmalade, zesty and bright. There’s a gentle cinnamon warmth and a touch of menthol that lifts everything. With a few drops it reacts perfectly well, opens up even more – fresh croissants straight from the oven, no kidding. It’s not the ‘usual’ 1976 Tomatin you’d expect. Quality’s high, dangerously easy to drink. Feels like a classic 1976 done a bit differently, and I’m here for it. 🌾🥭

Warm and malty, with a bit of honey, soft fruit and a wee touch of smoke. Feels cosy rather than punchy — nice gentle spice at the end 🥃 Bit oaky, bit sweet, pretty easygoing.

Quite mellow and cosy, with a bit of dried fruit, honey and soft oak. There’s a gentle spice that warms up nicely, not too shouty. Bit of orange peel and vanilla too 🥃 Feels like an easy dram for a quiet evening, proper comforting.

Warm and a bit smoky, with a gentle sweet kick. Feels cosy, like sitting by the fire on a damp evening 🥃 Bit of oak, bit of spice, and a nice long mellow finish.

Ahh right, so this one's got proper warmth to it innit 🥃 Nose: immediate honey, vanilla, bit of smokiness lingerin about... sort of autumn bonfire kinda vibe Palte: gettin rich toffee, some dried fruit notes, maybe a touch of cinnamon spice? Smooth mouthfeel tbf, not harsh at all 👌 Finish: that peat smoke comes through lovely, hangin around like a good campfire. Litle bit o' chocolate there too me thinks Overall just a really comfortin dram like. Perfect for sittin by the window on a rainy afternoon ☔ Solid 8/10 would deffo have again
