Honestly this one just *feels* cleaner right away. Opens with that bright, pure lemon – big, chalky, almost mineral lemons that sit right up front on the palate. Not even slightly dirty; less tarry and rather less of that old garage-tools thing I sometimes get. More like a blade of straw, pretty blade-y actually, but in a crisp way. Then the smoke creeps in, not massive at all, just a thin mint-like whiff behind the citrus. There's new natural leather tucked in there too, soft and unsweetened. Mid-palate it goes surprisingly broad – bigger on the palate than expected – and I’m getting oysters, a salty clean kiss, then a weirdly comforting aspirin-tablets-in-water-with-lemon-juice-and-drops-of-honey-and-vanilla-essence vibe. In a good way. Tiny bit of embrocations heat but so pure. Cures you, I swear. Just an extremely pure expression of Springbank, all lemon-perfect and focused. 🍋🦪✨

Warm and cosy dram 🥃 Bit of honey, soft oak, dried fruit and a wee spicy kick. Feels smooth enough, with a gentle smoky edge and a nice lingering sweetness. Proper easy to sip on a quiet evening.

Quite a cosy dram, this. Bit of sweet fruit, gentle spice, and a warm oaky finish 🥃 Feels smooth enough for a quiet evening, with a wee tingle that hangs about nicely.

Quite cosy on the nose — soft fruit, a bit of honey, and gentle oak. Tastes warm and mellow, with a wee spicy kick at the end 😊 Easy to sip, not too fussy.

Crikey, this whisky's got a right smokey kick, like a bonfire night. Then there's this lovely huney sweetness with some fruity hints. Finish is spicey and smooth. Lovely drop! 🔥🍯🍎 First sip is all campfire smoke – dead good. Then the huney and fruit come through, really nice. 🍯🍎 Ends with a warm spicey note. 🌶️
