Right, just poured a wee dram and honestly, first nosing I'm getting this whiff of paraffin, proper old-school. Sippin' through, there's that dry paraffiny side again, almost sooty, like a chimney sweep's pocket. Slightly dusty, a wee bit dirty on the palate — but not in a bad way, part of the game here innit. Mid-palate it's medium yet fat, somehow coating, then boom — clear Williams pear spirit, those tinned pear notes cutting through. Finish leaves a lingering aftertaste, still that waxy, paraffin thread. Gotta say, this is very good. Actually, very very good. Clear BFYB whisky, no messing about. Cheeky wee firecracker 🥃✨
