Right, so first sip… it’s remarkably cleaner than I expected, almost too clean. Got that perfect, crystal-clean zestiness — lemon and lime doing a little dance, but there’s a metallic tang that catches you off guard, like sucking a 10p coin. Then it goes a bit weird, in a good way. Dried mint leaves, yeah, but also something like new leatherette, maybe a whiff of shoe polish and ink. Can’t tell if I’m drinking whisky or sniffing a stationery cupboard. Tiny bit plastic-ky on the mid-palate, which sounds worse than it is. Then a dusty hit of white pepper and some proper ginger heat. The finish lingers, bitterish and herbal, almost like chewing a bit of dried mint stalk. Quirky one, that. 😅

Lovely cosy dram 🥃 Bit of honey, soft oak, dried fruit and a wee spicy tingle. Feels warm, mellow, and easy to sip on a quiet evening. Nice long finish, a touch sweet and smoky.

Quite cosy, really. Bit of honey, oak and a wee citrus lift, then it goes warm and gently spicy 🥃 Feels like a rainy evening dram — smooth enough, with a nice dry finish.

Warm and mellow, with a bit of honey, oak and gentle spice. Feels cosy rather than heavy — a wee touch of dried fruit and vanilla, then a soft, slightly smoky finish 😊

Warm and a bit spicy, with honey, oak and dried fruit coming through. Feels cosy, slightly smoky, and nicely rounded 🥃 A wee bit sharp at first, but settles lovely.
