Right, so first sip… it’s remarkably cleaner than I expected, almost too clean. Got that perfect, crystal-clean zestiness — lemon and lime doing a little dance, but there’s a metallic tang that catches you off guard, like sucking a 10p coin. Then it goes a bit weird, in a good way. Dried mint leaves, yeah, but also something like new leatherette, maybe a whiff of shoe polish and ink. Can’t tell if I’m drinking whisky or sniffing a stationery cupboard. Tiny bit plastic-ky on the mid-palate, which sounds worse than it is. Then a dusty hit of white pepper and some proper ginger heat. The finish lingers, bitterish and herbal, almost like chewing a bit of dried mint stalk. Quirky one, that. 😅
