Big, spicy dram this one 🥃 Loads of ginger, bitter orange and grapefruit up front, then walnuts, dark chocolate and a bit of earthy damp hay. The oak feels pretty fresh and punchy, but it doesn’t totally take over. With water it gets smokier and slightly meaty, with a wee metallic edge. Thick mouthfeel, long finish, quite nervous but really appealing. One for a slow evening.

Warm and a bit smoky, with sweet vanilla, dried fruit and a wee spicy kick. Feels cosy, like a rainy evening by the fire 🥃 Finish is smooth-ish, slightly oaky, pretty moreish.

Blimey, this whisky's got a proper kick to it. First taste’s a bit sharp, like biting into a green apple, then mellows out with some honey and spice. 🥃 Can feel it warming me up nicely, with a hint of smoke at the end – reminds me of a bonfire. Really dig the way it lingers. 😊 Might be a touch of vanilla in there too, but hard to tell sometimes. Overall, a right good pour for a chilly evening. 👍
