Right then, let’s have a wee nosing… 👃 First whiff is all warm toffee and a bit of oak, like an old sweetshop. Then there’s a lovely wisp of dried fruits—raisins, maybe a hint of apple peel. 🍎 On the palate… blimey. Starts off creamy vanilla custard, then a gentle wave of baking spice—cinnamon, nutmeg. Not too hot, just cosy. Mid-palate there’s a soft nuttiness, almost like almond biscotti. 🍪 The finish is proper long. A wee touch of leather and polished wood, wth a darjeeling tea-like dryness that hangs about. Tiny bit of orchard fruit sweetness comes back right at the end. No smoke, just pure, balanced malt. 🥃 Lovley dram for a rainy evening, that. Proper comforting, innit.
