Right then, here's what I'm gettin' from this dram... Nose is all warm heather honey 🍯 and a whiff of pecan pie, but there's a damp oak sorta thing lurking, like an old shed in the rain. First sip Oh aye, it's a syrupy wee beast. There's stewed pears and a dusting of cinamon. That sherry influence is definately there—dried figs, maybe a bit of dark choc just peeping through 🍫. Finish The smoke sneaks up on ya—not a bonfire, more like the embers in the grate hours after, with a lick of sea salt. Tiny bit of black pepper tingle makes it linger proper lovely. Cheer for that, just the ticket on a dreich night.
