Right, just cracked this open 🥃 Nose is pure honeycomb & sultanas, wiv a gentle waft of peat smoke behind it. No harshness at all. Taste: stewed apples drizzled in caramel, then a wee kick of cinnamon and clove. Mid-palate gets oily, nutty – like walnut skin, but in a good way. There's a whisper of drying oak right thru. Finish is long & warm, leaves a tingle of ginger and the faintest earthy peated note that just sits quietly. Properly moorish, cud sip this all night. 6 outta 6 for me.
