Been sipping on this whisky tonight – what a treat! The nose has this simply and charming vibe, think soft green fruits and pure coastal freshness, almost like pale white wine with a dash of citrus oils. Taste-wise, it's gentle at first but then the power from behind kicks in. Velvety peppery notes mixed with dried green fruits and a salty peaty vibe. There's an evolution as it goes, with encroaching peppery that feels like eucalyptus. Finish is long, perfectly dry, and leaves this glowing sensation. Smoked teas and delicate coastal notes linger. It's stripped back yet stunning, a brilliant distillate that's fruity and naked in its purity. Lovely stuff! 😋

Nose first – it’s quite simply charming, all citrus oils and a whisper of eucalyptus, maybe light herbal notes. Has that pure coastal freshness, like standing on a cliff. Sips gentle at first, really clean and… glowing? Almost a simplified version of what I expect. Then it wakes up – the coastal and peaty qualities show up, and that evolution! It starts smooth, then this encroaching peppery quality comes from behind, like a velvet wave. Powerful but not harsh. Finish is long, really long. Leaves this stripped-back, honest taste that reminds me of something… ah, like an old map label, or salt on a breeze. Stunning stuff, really. 🤙
