Ah, right then. First sip and it's like someone ground up coffee beans and smoked ham together – mad combo. Then the walnuts hit, and they just keep coming back, again and again. It's proper dry, driest I've had in ages, you know? That amontillado sherry thing going on. Getting a whiff of cigars and maybe some coal smoke from an old engine room. A bit of metal polish on the rim of the glass too. Very oloroso-y underneath, with a touch of varnish and burnt papers. The 50ppm peat is there, all sooty. Full-on walnuts mixed with English mustard now. Reminds me of roasted chestnuts at Christmas, but with fried onions and black pepper. The finish is just… wow. So very long. More and more walnuts, a hint of parsley, and that mustard kick lingers. It's like after a long day in a garage – tyres and oil – but in a strangely good way. The warmth just sits there in your chest. Properly punchy. 🥃

Wow, this one really grabs you – first up, it's all burnt papers and coal smoke, like a workshop with old tyres and metal polish. 🤔 Taste-wise, it's full-on walnuts and mustard, very oloroso-y with a big dry and salty kick. There's a bit of fried onions, parsley, and some soy sauce in there, plus ground coffee and roasted chestnuts. The smoke feels like 50ppm, with fumes and a touch of varnish. Finish is incredibly long, more pungent with cigars and soot, and probably the driest of them all. Reminds me a bit of Jäger but with a different style, more and more walnuts coming through. 🥃

Dry as anything, smoky and proper savoury 🥃 Getting coal smoke, burnt paper, a bit of smoked ham and fried onions. Then it goes salty sherry, coffee, cigars, walnuts and roasted nuts. Bit mustardy, bit punchy, like old Jäger in the background. Quite intense, but weirdly moreish.

Oh blimey, this one's got some right proper character. 🥃 First off, it's well smoky, innit? Not just a hint, but a proper campfire sort of smokiness, like toasted oak. Then there's this lovely sweetness underneath – I'm gettin' honey and vanilla, almost like a dessert. 🍯 It's got a bit of fruit too, maybe some pear or apple, and a touch of spice that lingers nicely. A fair bit of warmth, but smooth as you like. The finish is long, with that smokiness and a little bit of leather or somethin'. Quite the complex dram, this. Really rather enjoyble. 👍
