Just had a dram and honestly, it's flying very high right now 🍐 First thing that hit me was this superlative fresh-fruit-salad effect - like seriously, pears and oranges just bursting out. There's a bit of yuzu in there too, which is quite striking, and some kiwi lurking around. Very fruity overall. Got this lovely vanilla sweetness underneath, and honestly it reminds me of warm scones fresh from the oven. There's something biscuity about it too, maybe even a touch of kougelhopf if you know what I mean? That bready, yeasty thing. Has a medium body, and somewhere in the background there's a little rum character - if there was more of that, you'd probably get even more of those welcome bananas and papayas. Already picking up bourbony bananas as it sits. Bit of straw on the nose, which gives it a slightly Irish vibe I reckon. Only tried one glass so far but already planning my next pour 😊

天呐，这一杯下去真的有点“flying very high”的感觉！闻着就像走进一家老式面包房，满是 classic and classy brioches 和刚出炉 scones 的香气，上面还 coated with honey。 喝起来呀，very fruity 的，先是 ripe kiwis 那种 dazzling 的酸甜，然后 more oranges 和 papayas 的果香就涌上来了，后段还有点 bourbony bananas 的甜润，很像 biscuits 和 straw 的感觉。有时候恍惚间，觉得它 somewhat Irish，让我想起 some older malts from Bushmills 的影子。 最妙的是那个 superlative fresh-fruit-salad effect，特别是 pears 和 yuzu 清爽的味道，收尾时居然有一丝 late harvest riesling 的甜美感。整体 medium 的酒体，还带着 a little rum 的温暖，真的 only #1 这种级别的享受了。😌

Drinking this and it's bursting with oranges and yuzu – ripe kiwis are dazzling, like a superlative fresh-fruit-salad effect 🍊. Medium body with vanilla and biscuits, a little rum note and bourbony bananas. Pears and pineapples come through, with scones and some older malts that have a similar vibe, somewhat Irish. Quite striking, only #1 sip hit me with late harvest riesling and kougelhopf hints. Very fruity! 😄

Crackin’ wee sip, this one 🥃 First sniff is all orchard fruits... stewed apple, maybe a bruised pear just sittin’ in the bowl Touch of waxed wood, like old furniture polish in a nice way Palate’s soft, almost sleepy — mellow honey, bit of that malt biscuit crumble Then it wakes up wi’ a little peppery tingle and some dried peel Finishes clean, but there’s a ghost of something savoury Almost like a whisper of oiliness — walnut skin perhaps? 🍂 Not shouty, not complicated Just a comfy dram for a drizzly night in.

Ooh nice one! 🥃 Nose: honey and toffee straight away, bit of cinnamon in there too Palate: buttery smooth, got some dark chocolate and dried fruit comin throgh. Spicy but not OTT Finish: medium length, nice oaky warmth lingers 🍯 Aye it's deffo a solid sipper like. The smoke is there but not overpowring, just gives it a bit of depth yknow? Proper winter warmer this one 👌 would say its more on the sweet side init, no too peaty. me nan could probly drink this without pullin a face 😂 8/10 would have anothr dram
