First sip, and I'm hit with this tropical vibe – ripe mangos and passion fruits jump out, all creamy and vanilla-ed up. It's lemony, like lemon marmalade with a zing of citronella, and I get hints of oranges and pan-fired bananas too. The sweetness is like rather more honey, balanced by a ginger tang that's fun. Feels like nibbling Middle-Eastern pastries with orange blossom water in the air. The malt is pure bourbony, and it's perfectly constructed with that good ex-American oak touch. Barley everywhere, a golden colour, and honestly, it's just perfect and excellent! 😊
