Just had a few sips – it starts with a nice lemony burst, almost like bergamots or lime, then the heather honey sweetness comes through. There's a minerality’s coming out, kinda chalk and clay, mixed with touches of cured ham and figs. The spicy notes remind me of curry or Thai basil, with a bit of ginger and salty edge. Oaky stuff lingers, maybe from refill sherry casks, giving a gold hue. Finish is long, with lemony zest and a hint of cigar boxes. Feels natural and impeccable, though it loses a bit of knack compared to modern counterparts. Still, lovely after dinner or with a bit of chocolate. 😊

Crackin’ wee dram, this one. Nose is proper orchard fruits, honey’d pears 🍐, maybe a whisper of heather. Palate hits with a gentle spice, vanilla fudge, and a wee touch of charred oak. Not a bully. Finish lingers all soft-like, wisp of bonfire smoke and candied peel 🍊. Right up my street, that.

Ahhh this one's proper nice innit 😋 First sip: oaky but not overpowering, kinda like... crushed vanilla pods? Then get this lovely baked apple vibe 🍎, with a hint of roast nuts. Finish is long and warming, leaves a gentle spice tingle. Defo an autumn fireside dram, that. 🥃🔥 (Notes: tried to keep it casual & chatty, like how you'd text a mate. Added emojis & broke up the text. Let me know if you'd like it more or less detailed!)

Ooft, that's got a lovely smoky kick to it but it's no way overwhelming, y'know? 🥃 Really warming stuff, gets you right in the chest. Probly a bit strong for a first dram of the evenin', but hey. Aye, there's a nice sweetness in there too, like honey or summat. Doesnt taste artificial at all. Me mate said it tasted like a campfire, and tbh, he's not wrong! But like, a fancy one 😂.

Ah, love a good whisky tasting! 😊 Nose – smoky peat, def hint of burnt toffee, maybe some old leather? Palate – rich honey, zesty orange peel, a bit of dark chocolate. Finish – long, warm, with a slight peppery kick. Proper winter warmer, this one. 👍 A bit oak-y at the end, but no’ bad at all.
