Hmm, this dram is… interesting. At first, I got this really vivid note of liqueur-filled chocolate, which was nice and rich. Then it opened up into these fun fruits – tangerines, fresh figs, a real freshness there. It’s got this sort of porridge and damp oatcakes base, you know? Like a hearty breakfast. But there’s a surprising kick, a bit like a shot of ginger liqueur or maybe a whiff of Thai red sauce right in the middle. Very bold. It reminds me a little of Campari at cask strength – that bitter-sweet, herbal punch. It’s a departure from the usual dried fruits I get, for sure. The finish is super long, keeps going with that spicy, fresh barley note. Ooh, quite a ride. Not sure it’s my usual style, but it’s certainly memorable. 🥃🍊

Quite a quirky dram, this. Damp oatcakes first, then boozy chocolates and orange peel 🍊 Turns all Campari-orange, bitter and herbal, with ginger liqueur and a Thai red sauce warmth. Fun fruits, nice gold glow, but the European oak feels a bit loud and it ends a touch unfinished, if I’m honest.

Just had a sip of this one – wow, it's packed with fun fruits right away. Tangerines and fresh figs jumping out, with that bitter orange peel thing going on. The body's good and full, and there's a lovely freshness, like damp oatcakes or even porridge vibes. 😊 Then I get this liqueur-filled chocolate sweetness, mixed with a herbal side – reminds me of Thai red sauce for some reason? And Campari-orange hits hard, especially at cask strength. Ginger liqueur adds a fun kick too. It's a real departure from the usual dried fruit notes I'm used to. More of all that, honestly – Campari at full force. Though, not too sure it was totally ready for bottling; feels a bit young in places. But hey, that's fun! 👍

Just had a dram – the fresh barley is upfront, almost like porridge with a fun twist. Fresh figs and fun fruits pop in, a real departure from the usual dried ones I know. 🍇 Not too sure it was totally ready for bottling, but that's fun – it's got a Campari at cask strength vibe, bitter oranges and peels. Good body, herbal side with ginger liqueur and damp oatcakes. Long finish, more of all that, plus a bit of Thai red sauce and liqueur-filled chocolate. Campari-orange freshness all the way. 😋 Overall, it's a gold for being so unique!
