Right then, here’s what I’m getting from this dram… Nose is like walking into a warm bakery🍞, sticky toffee pudding just out the oven, a bit of dried fruit — sultanas, maybe a whisper of orange peel. There’s a gentle spice too, like cinnamon sticks, not overpowering. On the pallate it’s silky, almost oily. Caramel and vanilla custard hit furst, then a lovely wave of baked apple wiv a dusting of nutmeg. That spicy warmth comes back, clove and a hint of black pepper, but it’s all wrapped up in honey. The finish? Medium-long, with a fading glow of oakey wood and a touch of dark chocolate bitterness that balances the sweet. Just a little drying at the end, makes you want another sip. Cozy stuff, proper fireside whisky. 🔥🥃
