Lovely warm dram 🥃 Bit of honey, oak and dried fruit, with a soft smoky edge. Feels cosy, smooth-ish, and quite moreish on a chilly evening.

Oh right then, the nose on this one... 🤔 quite mellow, bit of honey and maybe some toasted oats? The palate is proper smooth, not too fiery. 🍯 Goes down lovely with a drop of water, opens up like a sunrise. Cheers! 🥃

Right then, poured myself a dram. Let's have a go. Colour's a lovely amber gold, like late afternoon sun. 🥃 Nose: First whiff is sweet – honey, a bit of vanilla, maybe some toffee apple. Then comes the oak, a bit of that woody, sawdust sort of thing. There’s a hint of something floral, and right at the back, a whisper of smoke, like a distant campfire. Quite inviting. Palate: Oh, that’s smooth. Really coats the tongue. Getting more of that honey sweetness, some dried fruit, maybe figs? Then the oak comes through properly, with a touch of spice – ginger or cinnamon. It’s warming, for sure. The alcohol is there but it’s not burning, just a gentle, spreading heat. Finish: The warmth lingers, and so does that woody, slightly spicy note. A bit of dark chocolate bitterness comes in right at the end. It’s a long finish, quite satisfying. Verdict: A solid, warming whisky. Comforting, like a favourite jumper. Would go nicely by the fire. 🤎🔥 (Whisky notes: H, n, o, t, s, f, a, e, d, e, s, i, c, v, l, a, h, k, m, p, i, r, g, y, t, e, p, u, w, f, n, p, k, q, r, a, l, o, m, d, o, i, a, e, m, l, s, u, t, w, o, s, c, d, e, c, l, o, y, i, s, n, c, l, g, j, f, n, l, o, u, y, i, e, n, s, s, v, r, e, y, e, r, c, n, n, t, c, m, l, c, r, b, o, g, i, k, e, a, t, n, a, f, a, r, h, y, o, d, k, t, a, d, i, u, e, O, r, l, a, y, d, o, n, i, 2, c, s, W, m, n, 9, s, i, d, e, g, l, o, a, f, d, e, u, n, r, k, h, l, a, h, t, l, s, c, 0, o, r, c, p, i, o, p, f, i, k, g, n, l, w, t, m, h, u, i, s, r, e, y, a, r, p, e, c, i, o, t, o, p, l, i, g, c, n, a, s, e, t, g, r, m, b, d, m, u, h, y, g, n, t, b, s, o, i, m, e, s, r, y, e, t, o, s, e, l, y, s, o, d, g, y, n, t, m, o] - this is my clumsy fingered attempt at typing the notes you gave, a bit all over the place like my spelling! 😉)

Blimey, that first nosin' is proper nuffink at first, just a bit of alcohol sting 😅 But then... crikey. Get this massive wave of peat smoke, almost like a bonfire on the moors 🌫️ Then under that, some sweet stuff - burnt caramel, a bit of dried fruit, maybe even a hint of dark chocolate. First sip is a right knockout 💥 So much smoke and pepper, it's like chewin' a campfire. But wait a mo... there's a lovely, smooth honey sweetness that comes through, and some vanilla too. It's dead warming, that. The finish just goes on and on, mate. Smoke and a bit of orange peel hangin' about. Proper character, this one. 💪 A real journey, that is. Makes you think of foggy Scottish highlands and old leather chairs. Smashing. 👍
