Popped the cork on this one, lovely pale gold in the glass. Nose is all tinned litchis and preserved apricots, almost bonbony sweet with a whiff of gewürztraminer. Body’s rather light, and it’s clear time had erased the remaining smokiness – less peat than I’d braced for. Get a soft white chocolate note on the tongue, then it drifts into peach and custard tarte territory. Medium finish, no rough edges. Feels like those big stills have rounded everything out, though I’d maybe fancy just a touch more weight. Still, a cheery dram 🍑

Quite cosy, really. A bit of honey and dried fruit up front, then some oak, spice and a wee smokey warmth 🥃 Feels smooth enough, with a gentle sweet finish that hangs about nicely. Not too fussy, just easy to sip.

Warm and cosy dram 🥃 I get soft honey, a bit of oak, gentle spice and a wee smoky edge. Dried fruit comes through too, with a nice peppery finish. Quite comforting, not too fussy — proper easy to sip.

Warm and malty, with a bit of honey, dried fruit and gentle spice. Feels cosy, slightly woody, and leaves a soft smoky tingle 😊

Right, this whisky's proper smooth with a hint of honey and a bit of smokiness. The finish is warm and lingering, with touches of vanilla and oak. Really enjoyable, innit? 🥃
