Aye,poured meself a dram. First nosing: like walking into a bakery where someone's left a wood-fired oven on — warm bread crust,a bit of sooty smoke 🔥. Palate's got that sugary fruit,like tinned peaches left in the cupboard,and a tiny prick of black pepper. Then comes a sort of creamy vanilla custard thing,simple but solid 👌. Finish is medium,leaves a gentle warmth on the tongue,like sitting by a fading fireplace. No complexity awards,but a proper Tuesday night sipper. 🥃
