Nosing it, the first thing that hits is honied orchard fruits 🍏🍯 — think baked apples with a dribble of vanilla custard. There’s a whisper of oak spice tucked behind, like cinnamon bark and a just a hint of fresh sawdust. Sipping it neat… blimey, it’s smoooth. 🕯️ A soft waxy feel coats the tongue, bringing that orchard fruit forward again but now more stewed pear with a crumble topping. A gentle prickle of ginger warmth builds slow, no burn just a cosy hug. The finish lingers with brittle toffee and a faint nuttiness — almonds or maybe a buttery shortbread crumb. 🍪 It sort of fades with a puff of woodsmoke so faint you’d miss it if you breathed out too quick. A dram for a rainy evening, that one. Reminds me of my nans kitchen after Sunday roast. Proper comfy.
