Cracking dram, this. First sniff is like it’s telling you, “Cures you” – proper medicinal, but in that comforting aspirin-tablets-in-water-with-lemon-juice-and-drops-of-honey-and-vanilla-essence way. More lemon, just bags of big mineral lemons, citrus that’s sharp as a blade but perfectly ripe. The lemon is perfect, honestly. Then I get thin mints, a bit of salted porridge, and a whiff of a leather shop in Turkey, all that dry, dusty hide mixed with chalk and plaster, beach sand. Not massive on the nose, but opens with a feeling of garage tools – cold metal, oily rags – in the best sense. Take a sip… bigger on the palate, less tarry, more floral, straw, and a pure, pure expression that feels like the spirit’s been stripped right back to its bones. Oysters and a chalky mineral thing, maybe even purer than I remember from certain casks. Simply extremely good. The finish is pretty blade-y, that lemon and sea spray just keeps humming. Magic. 🦪🍋✨

Lovely wee dram 🥃 Feels warm and cosy, with a bit of honey, soft spice, and dried fruit. Slight oakiness, not too harsh. Finish is gentle, maybe a touch peppery, but quite easy to sit with.

Warm and a bit spicy, with a soft sweetness that hangs about nicely. Feels cosy, like a quiet evening by the fire 🥃 Bit of oak, dried fruit, and a wee peppery kick. Proper easy to enjoy.

Lovely cosy dram 🥃 Bit of vanilla, soft oak, a wee citrus lift, then gentle smoke and spice. Feels warm, mellow, and easy to sit with on a chilly evening. Slightly sweet, slightly dry at the end — quite comforting.

Right, so this whisky, yeah? 🥃 First off, I get a lovely bit of honey and vanilla on the nose. Then tasting it, there's a proper smoky note, like a campfire, with some peaty earthiness. Got a hint of dark chocolate and oak in there too. The finish is smoov and long, with a touch of citrus. Really nice drop, that. 👍😊
