Ooh right, this one's a proper dram innit 🥃 First sip - immediatey get hit with that peaty smoke, like sitting by a bonfire on a moor. Then comes this lovely caramel and vanilla sweetness, really creamy mouthfeel. Halfway thru you notice the honey and dried fruit, maybe some orange peel? There's a wee bit of ginger spice there too, keeps things interesting. Rich and warming, like a hug from the inside. The oak comes through on the back end, and there's definitely some dark chocolate notes lingering about. Finish is longggg 🔥 smoke and leather hang around for ages. You can taste the malt and maybe a touch of nut. Honestly? It's smooth as anything, lovely balance between the sweet and the smoky. Would deffo have another glass of this on a cold evening aye 👌 very moreish indeed!
