Right, here's my tuppence on this dram. 🥃 Nose first — proper honey'd barley, a waft of sea spray and a soft peat smok like a beach bonfire. Not the heavy, hospital sort... more like smoulderin heather. 🌊🔥 On the tongue it’s surprisingly oily. Sweet stewed apple, a bit of toffy, then that earthy smokey note creeps in slow. Got a briny twang as well, almost like salted caramel. Mid-palate I'm gettin cinnamon, a whisper of dark choc. The peat is deffo there but it’s polite — wraps round the fruit instead of punchin through. Warm and cosy, no burn. Finish is long, a bit ashy, with a peppery prickle that stays. Leaves a dry oakey vibe that begs another sip. 👌 A crackin' drop — balenced, no jaggy edges. Just proper moreish.
