Cor, this one takes you to another world straight off. 🍄 Earthy mushroom notes right up front, almost like walking through damp woods after rain. Then it does this funny turn – goes almost cider-sharp, that little crisp apple tang, but then softens into a buttery Burgundian side. Honestly reminds me of those buttery chardonnays of Bourgogne I had once, all golden and round. Gold in the glass, proper pale sunshine. Nose has a whisper of Sansibar teas, like a busy spice market, but then there's an odd note – floorcloth, damp linen, not in a dirty way, just… lived-in. Feels a little fragile, like it might fall apart if you hold it too long. Soft oaks are there, barely whispering. Finish lands like cool mint tea, herbal and quiet. Very tea-ish, actually. 🍵
