Quite cosy, this one. I get soft oak, a bit of honey, dried fruit and a wee smoky edge 🥃 Feels warm and mellow, not too fussy. Nice for a slow evening, especailly when it’s chucking it down outside.

Just had a dram of this one and wow, proper interesting stuff 🥃 Nose - get a hit of smoke straight away, bit of honey sweetness underneath and some nice caramel notes. There's a touch of vanilla there too, quite inviting. Palate - oh this is lovely. Malty sweetness comes through first, then you get this warm spice kick. Bit of dark chocolate and maybe some dried fruit? Figs or raisins or summit like that. Really coats the mouth nicely. Finish - medium length, get more of that smokiness coming back with a bit of coffee bitterness at the end. Leaves a nice warm feeling tbh 🔥 Overall just a really well balanced dram. Not too heavy, not too light. Would defo have another glass on a cold evening. Goes down a treat 👌 Would pair nicely with some dark chocolate or a good cheese I reckon.

Blimey, this whisky's got a right smoky kick, like a bonfire on a crisp autumn night. 🍂 There's a sweet hint of honey or caramel, and a spicy finish that warms you up. 🥃 Proper lovely, that.
