Right, so this one’s full gold in the glass, proper sunshiny. Nose is… very okay. Nothing mad, just pleasant. But then you sip it and blimey 🌴 It’s a perfect piña colada without any of the effort. No coconut milk needed, it’s already extremely coconutty on the palate. Like mango purée and pineapple juice rolled together, with this weirdly brilliant orange liqueur vibe running through. Honestly, no rum needed at all. There’s a stage where it almost gets a little ‘too much’ now, sort of sweet and thick like incredible coconut wine. But then a crack of black pepper snaps it back. Not particularly complex, but what it does well it does brilliantly. I’m getting buttercups, dandelions, yellow flowers everywhere, as if someone grew coconut trees in Tennessee 🌾 secretly tropical. Bit of a secret George Dickel wink in there maybe, but who cares—it’s good fun, from the tropics in a glass. Great stuff.
