Poured a dram of this lovely light gold stuff tonight and it’s absolutely brilliant. Smells a bit mad at first tbh, like walking into a workshop... fresh paint, varnish, glue, shoe polish, even a whiff of mercurochrome and a tiny pinhead of tar. Sounds raw but it works perfectly. Then it just explodes into this endless citrusy development. So punchy! 🍋 We're talking a wide range of citrus here: grapefruits, lime, kumquats, bergamots, and waxed citrons. It’s got the vibe of superb citrus liqueurs or even a really good tequila blanco with all those heavy essences and oils. Spotted a bit of tart rhubarb juice and kiwi in there too. It’s very green with an awesome fresh herbal complexity. Kinda Haribo-y in a fruity way, but definately not dull or childish at all. Just an excellent, bright, luminous and rejoicing pour. Fades out nicely with a medium finish. Proper cracking dram to unwind with! 🥃

Right, poured myself a dram and... blimey, this isn’t dull at all. It’s like walking through a citrus grove at dawn – grapefruits, limes, those little kumquats, all bright and zingy. There’s something herbal too, almost like fresh bergamot or rhubarb juice cut with a bit of tequila blanco rawness. Gets a waxy, citron-oil feel on the tongue, with a hint of that Sancerre-y chalkiness. Quite punchy, actually. Finish is medium, leaving a funny mix of kiwi freshness and a touch of varnish. Feels complex but rejoicing, like a grown-up Haribo. Pretty superb, honestly. 🍋✨

This one’s a proper gold, like late afternoon sun through a window. First thing that hits me is this bright, zingy citrus – grapefruits and limes, with a surprising hit of kumquats. It’s quite punchy, almost raw, like sniffing a tequila blanco. There’s a weird, fun note underneath that’s kinda like shoe polish and a pinhead of tar? But then there’s this awesome fresh herbal thing, and it’s so waxed citrons and kiwi. The finish is medium, but the citrus just keeps on going and going. It’s like a complex, rhubarb-juicy citrus liqueur. Rejoicing in that brightness. 🍋 There’s a faint glue/varnish scent that reminds me of a new pair of shoes, weirdly, but I don’t mind it. Almost Sancerre-y in its chalky feel. Light gold, luminous, and endlessly developing. Just lovely. 😄

First sip, and it's definitely not dull – feels far from childish. Bright bergamots and grapefruits hit you, like some superb citrus liqueurs. There's a tiny pinhead of tar that adds character, blending with these essences and oils. The herbal complexity is awesome, really fresh and punchy. Got that very green vibe, with raw notes of kiwi and kumquats. Feels putty-like in texture, maybe a hint of fresh paint, but it all comes together excellently. Luminous and bright, just makes you rejoice! 😊

Warm and cosy dram 🥃 I get honey, vanilla, a bit of citrus and soft oak. Then some gentle spice and a wee smoky edge. Finishes smooth, slightly dry, with a nice caramel sweetness. Quite comforting, honestly.
