Tonight, I cracked open a fresh pour and, goodness, it's like a walk through a damp herb garden after rain 🌿. First hit is this lovely, almost awesome chalky feeling, right next to that damp white soil smell. Then it opens up – boom, mangos and a bit of preserved yellow peaches, like a jar of summer jams. There's this crystalized tropical fruit thing going on, with a hint of mirabelles peelings and fresh leaves. The texture feels really clean, like crushed slate or marl, with a great white Bourgogne freshness. It’s not just wood I’m tasting, it feels like time itself, and there’s this utterly abundant, oneness quality. It finishes with this slightly salty, mineral touch, almost like white peaches and salinity on a breeze. Really moreish. 🥃

Light gold in the glass, really fresh and chalky 🍋 Feels like damp stone, white peach skins, mirabelle and a tiny salty nip. Creamy but still bright, with a mineral, almost white-wine sort of vibe. Quite complex, but easy to sit with. Proper clean and a bit fancy tbh.

Warm and cosy, with a wee hit of honey, oak and soft spice 🥃 Feels a bit smoky, a touch fruity, and nicely mellow. Easy to sip on a quiet evening.

Oh crikey, that nose! 🥃 Straight away I'm getting... Christmassy. Like my nan's kitchen. Dried fruit and dark chocolate, maybe a bit of orange peel. It's quite rich. First sip... wow. 💥 It's thick. Tastes of toffee and ginger. Then there's this lovely, warm, spicy thing happening - cinnamon? Definitely some oak in there too. It sits so well. 👍 Not harsh at all. Just a big, warming hug right in the chest. Really reminds me of sitting by a proper fire on a cold night. 👌 The finish goes on forever. 🌟 That ginger and wood spice just lingers, and then this sweet, slightly smoky note comes through. Like embers. Absolutely gorgeous stuff, this. Makes you just sit back and say "phwoar." 😌 Flavrs are just so well blended. No one thing shouts over the others. Proper good.
