Right, here’s the thing about this dram…
First nosing and you get this waft of warm honey 🍯, a bit of toffee, maybe some orchard fruit – apples and pears stewed gently.
On the palate, it’s right cosy.
Silky, almost oily texure.
A pop of vanilla custard, then this lovely spicy kick – cinamon, nutmeg, a whisper of clove.
There’s a dried fruit note swirling about, raisins and a tiny hint of orange peel 🍊.
Finish is medium, lingering with a gentle oak warmth and a soft, malty bisuit note.
Not shouting, just having a nice chat by the fire 🔥.
Proper comfot pour, that.
