Blimey... first nose hits you with this bonkers waft of stewed orchard fruits, like someone’s left a crumble in the oven too long. 🍎 Faint whisp of heather honey floatin' on top too, proper gentle that.
Sip it... ooft. Silky, almost waxy feel, then a *ka-pow* of spice – cracked black pepper and a tickle of stem ginger right on the tongue. 🌶️ Underneath, there’s a lovely nutty, malty backbone, like warm brioche with a scrape of salted butter.
Finish lingers with this quiet luttle echo of dried apricots and a faint, clean whiff of oak smoke. Not shouty, just... cosy. Like sittin’ by a dying hearth fire with your slippers on. 🔥👌 A real treat, this 'un. Got that "just one more dram" danger about it.
