Pale gold in the glass ✨ Waxy citrus straight away — orange peel, old liqueur, a bit of lemon. Then it gets properly old-school: leather, metal polish, engine oil, a whiff of coal stove and soft peat smoke. Lovely oily mouthfeel, with liquorice, bitter orange, smoky grass and a wee mineral edge. Odd touch of vase water too, but it works. Finish is balanced, waxy, smoky, slightly medicinal. Pretty fab, tbh 🥃

Quite soft and warming, with a bit of honey, oak, and dried fruit. There’s a gentle spice that hangs about, plus a wee smoky edge 🥃 Feels cosy, not too heavy — the finish is smooth, slightly sweet, and a touch woody. Really easy to sip.

Quite cosy, really — warm honey, a bit of vanilla and oak, with a wee smoky tingle at the end 🥃 Feels smooth, slightly spicy, and nicely mellow. Easy to sip on a chilly evening.

Lovely warm dram 🥃 I get a bit of honey, soft oak, and a gentle smoky edge. Feels cosy, slightly spicy, with a sweet finish that hangs about nicely. Quite easy to sip, tbh.

Just had a sip of this one... nice! 😊 Got a bit of a smokiness at first, likr a cozy bonfire 🔥, then some sweet fruity notes came through. Maybe a hint of honey? 🍯 Really warms you up on the way down. A solid dram for a rainy evening. Not too complex, just easy-drinking and comforting. Might pair well with a piece of dark chocolate. Yum. 🍫
