Aye, proper nose on this one. First hit is all them ripe autumn fruits, right? Like a basket of apples and pears, but then there’s this deep, woody, smoky thing underneath. Got a bit of vanilla sweetness too. Taste-wise... it’s a proper autumn dram. Starts with that sweet fruit and toffee, then the spice and oak kick in. A bit of citrus zest comes through, balances it nicely. Finish is long, lingers with that lovely smokiness and a hint of dark chocolate. A proper warming whisky, this. Smoothe, too. 🥃
