Right, so I'm looking at this glass... colour's like old amber, quite deep. 🥃 Nose: first hit is sort of dusty books and leather, then a burst of candied orange peel. A bit of smokiness in the back, like a distant bonfire. 🔥 Palate: oh, that's interesting. Starts with sticky toffee pudding, then shifts into this dry, almost spicy oakiness. Hints of black tea, maybe a little clove. Not overly sweet. Finish: medium-long, warming. That dryness lingers, with a slight nuttiness coming through. Quite pleasant, actually. 😌 Overall, it's one of those drams that makes you think a bit. Quite nice. 👍
