Feels like a damp old wine cellar, with stout, red wine and yeasty bread notes up front. Then honeyed gingerbread, walnut cake, a bit of chilli heat and horseradish zing. Musty, malty, slightly sour, but quite cosy in a weird way 🍯🥃

Quite a cosy dram 🥃 Bit of honey, toasted oak and a wee spicy warmth. Feels smooth, mellow, and easy to sit with on a chilly evening. Nice lingering sweetness, not too much faff.

Just had this new dram, quite the experience! 🥃 On the nose, got a real hit of heather honey, like walking on the moors. And then something malty, sort of bready, with a bit of damp earth after rain. 🌧️ Taste-wise, it’s a bit of a journey. First wave is that warm, spicy kick – think cinnamon and maybe clove? Then it mellows into stewed apple and something nutty, like toasted almond. The smoke comes through last, not like a bonfire, more like a distant campfire. 🔥 Mouthfeel is lovely, really smooth and almost oily. Leaves you with a long, warm finish, a bit of dark chocolate and dried fruit. Proper autumn in a glass. 🍂 A bit of water opens it up even more, brings out a floral note I missed. Very enjoyable, right balance between sweet and smoky. 👍

Oh, this one’s interesting! 🥃 First sip… got a real smoky, peaty kick, almost like a seaside bonfire. Then some woody, spicy notes come through, maybe cinnamon? The finish is long and warming, with a touch of honey sweetness. Really nice complexity. 👌 Not sure about the exact brand, but it’s defo got character.

Just had a dram, really warming... smoky, a bit like a bonfire 🔥 but then it gets all fruity? kinda like Christmas cake 🎂 and toffee... Finish is long, got some spice and a bit of honey 🍯... Proper winter warmer this, wud be lovely with a bit of dark chocolate. 👍
