Right, so… cracking this one open, first sniff's like 👃 stewed apples and a whiff of bonfire smoke, y'know? Not the acrid sort, more like smouldering autumn leaves.🍂 On the palate, it’s proper silky. Honey’s there—heather honey, mind—then a wee spike of ginger and a whisper of seasalt. A bit of dark toffee too, chewy. Gets your tongue tinglin’. 👅 Bit of water (just a splash) brings out this vanilla custard note and… puff! A ghost of dried apricot. Slight oily-ness coats the mouth, a lovley warmth.😶🌫️ Finish hangs about. Briney, a touch of cracked black pepper, and an echo of oak that’s dry but never bitter. Leaves me wantin’ another wee sip. Slàinte!🥃
