Just had a dram of this whisky, innit? 🥃 Quite the experiance, really. First off, the nose is proper smoky, like a bonfire in autumn, with a hint of peat that makes you think of damp earth. Then there's this fruity bit – apple and pear, I reckon – mixed with some vanilla and oak from the barrel. 🍎🍐 On the palate, it starts sweet, almost like honey or toffee, but then comes a spicy kick, maybe cinnamon or pepper. The mouthfeel is smooth, not too harsh, and it lingers with a warm, comforting finish. Quite nice for a chilly evenin'. 🌧️ Tastes like a proper countryside walk, with layers that keep you sippin' for more. Absolutely loveley! 😊 Only drawback is it can be a bit heavy if you're not used to peaty ones, but overall, a solid experiance. Cheers! 🍻
