Blimey, this one’s a proper sherry bomb 💣 Nose 👃: straight away, dark toffee, sultanas, maybe a whiff of old leather armchair. Treacle tart, stewed plums. Bit of walnut. On the tongue 😋: thick, syrupy. Christmas cake laced with brandy 🍰. Dark chocolate 🍫, dried figs, clove. Oak’s there but it’s soft, well-worn. Tiny nip of ginger heat. Finish: looong, warming. Nutty, a tad drying but in a good way. Little whisper of smoke at the very tail end? 🔥 Cracking dram, that. Feels like a hug in a glass. Deffo one for a rainy night. 🥃

First snif – smoky as anything! 🔥 Got a real peaty kick. Nose also has some sweet fruity notes. 🍎 On the palate, it's rich and oily, with a nice complexity. Touches of vanilla and caramel come through. 🍫 Finish is long and warm, leaves you wanting more. Really enjoy this one. 🥃 Perfect for a cozy night in. 😊
