Ooh, this one's got a right lovely nose on it, I reckon.
Started with a bit of that warm, baked apple and maybe... a hint of toffee?
Then comes through this gentle, woody spice – think a cinnamon stick left in your tea. 🍂
Sip it neat, and it's proper smooth, like.
A touch of citrus zest, maybe some vanilla, and then... oh, a soft, peaty smokiness drifts in at the back. Not too much, just a wee whisper. 🔥
Finish is medium-length, warming.
Leaves you with a memory of that smoke and a dry, nutty sort of taste.
Aye, I'd have another dram of that. 👍
The only thing is, it got a bit... punchy right at the end, like.
Could be the alcohol making itself known.
But all in all, a really solid, comforting pour for a quiet evening. 🥃
