Right, cracked this one open last night. 💨 Big waft of smoky, peaty goodness straight away – proper Islay vibes, y'know? Sort of like a beach bonfire on a cool night. Then underneath, it gets interesting. 🍯 Got some malty sweetness, almost like honeycomb, and a bit of stewed apple or pear. The smoke isn't just smokke, there's like a salty, seaweedy thing there too. 🌊 First sip is a real punch. 🔥 Warm and spicy, got that peat coming through strong with some black pepper. It coats the mouth nicely, bit oily. As it sits, the fruit comes out more – maybe some dark chocolate and a hint of dried fig. 🍫 Finish is long and warming. A bit of that leather and old wood coming through now. Really makes you want another sip. A proper, thinkijg-person's dram. 👍 PS: Maybe a *touch* of burnt toast? Weird but nice.
