Pours rich and amber in the glass. 🥃 First nose is big peat smoke, like a bonfire on a misty moor, 🔥 with some seaweed and iodine underneath. A bit medicinal at first, but it softens. On the palate, it’s waxy and mouthcoating. Get waves of smoked honey 🍯, burnt orange peel, and a sharp, almost lemony citrus zing. The smoke is constant but not just a whack – it’s woven in with sweet vanilla and some woody spice, like cinnamon. The finish is long, warming, and really quite dry. Leaves a lovely, lingering taste of ashtray (the good kind!), dark chocolate, and a hint of mint. It’s a proper peat bomb but has layers. Definitely one for when you fancy something bold and bracing. 👍 Might need a drop of water to open up all those hidden floral 🌸 and malty notes.
