Lovely cosy dram 🥃 Getting honey, soft oak, a bit of orange peel and gentle spice. There’s a wee smoky edge too, but nothing too loud. Feels warm, smooth-ish, and nicely mellow. Great for a quiet evening in.

...right. This one's a bit of a journey. 🥃 First look, it's got a lovely deep amber, like old varnished wood. On the nose, you get hit with this... *almost* cloying sweetness, then... a sharper kick. Apples, maybe? But like, overripe ones, and something... spicy? Cinnamon? Then the palate. Whoa. 🤯 The initial sweetness sort of... coats your tongue, thick like honey, then it gets all fiery and peppery right at the back. There's a taste of... toffee, but burnt? And leather. Definately leather. 🍂 The finish is long, warming, a bit smoky. Leaves a tingling on the lips. You're left thinking... "what just happened?" lol. It's not a gentle sipper, that's for sure. Makes you sit up and take notice. Kinda grows on you, though. 👍

Right then, had a dram of this the other night. Nose: First whiff, it’s proper peaty, innit? Like a bonfire on the beach. Then comes this lovely sweet vanilla and a bit of dried fruit. 🍂 Palate: Oh, that’s nice. Smoky right off the bat, but then it’s all honey and warm spices. Maybe a bit of dark chocolate? Finish: Long and warming. Leaves you with a taste of toasted oak and that lovely malti character. A proper winter warmer. 🥃 Really moreish stuff. Makes you want to sit in a comfy chair with a good book.
