Blimey, this one’s a bit of a head-scratcher. 😕 Nosing it, there’s a waft of old cheese rind, but then it goes somewhere odd — like rotting artichokes left in the bottom of a veg drawer. There’s a kind of medicinal tang too, reminds me of that mercurochrome stuff mum dabbed on cuts. A bit of diluted chalk and a proper feinty edge that sort of prickles the nose. Taste-wise, a wee flash of tinned pineapple tries to be friendly, but gets elbowed aside by damp cardboard and then… old crabs and lobsters, honestly. Not fresh seaside, more like forgotten shellfish bits in a warm bin. It all sloshes into a dry, slightly vinegary white wine finish. 🦀 Strange dram, that. Not for the faint-hearted.
