Right, so this dram… 🥃 First nosing, it's like sticking your head in a fruit bowl – overripe pear, a bit of peach, then a waft of honeycomb. Almost like a dessert trolley on fire? 🔥🍯 That first sip: gentle warmth, not a burn. More like a hug from yer gran. There’s a lovely vanilla creaminess, some baking spice – cinnamon, maybe nutmeg – and then a sneaky hint of salted caramal. 🍮 Finish is medium, leaves a wee prickle of oak and a malty biscuit note, like digestives dunked in tea. This is dangerously sippable. 😮💨 Bit of water pops the fruit, more apricot jam and a faint smokiness, like charred orange peel. Anyways, proper cosy malt. Would drink on a damp Tuesday. 🌧️
