Right then, let’s have a wee taste… Nose is all ripe orchard fruit and this bonkers toffee note 🍬, tht kind of chewy sweet. There’s a whiff of sea spray and earthy peat smoke behind it—like a damp bonfire on the beach. On the palate it’s mad thicc. Rye spice hits first 🌶️, then this wave of dark honey 🍯 and carmelised figs. The peat creeps back in, tar and a proper medicinal kick, but it’s balanced by a creamy vanilla and dried apricot thing. Honestly, it’s a proper tug of war between sweet n’ smoky. Finish is long, oily, leaving cracked black pepper, a thread of ginger, and that faint seasalt tang. Bit of leather in the chewy echo. Cracking stuff. Proper dram for a mizzy evening. 🔥
