Had a dram that was proper thick, approaching perfection straight out the glass. Smells pure earthier than usual, with this tarry rope and old oils, a lick of salt and something weirdly like putty. Then wham! – almonds drenched in heavy marmalade, very powerful, almost a heavy rum note riding the normal Clynelish character. True beast, this one. Colour’s deep gold. The orangy palate hits with more salt, but it’s smoother somehow. Copper coins and a metallic side that melts into wet earth. Just keeps delivering. Liquorice, then a somewhat simpler moment of pinesap and dark pitch before it goes all waxy and petroly again, like a cheeky splash of Jamaican rum dancing on the finish. Kept me coming back for another sniff. Mad dram.

Warm and cosy, bit of honey, oak and spice. Feels smooth, with a wee peppery kick at the end 🥃 Quite mellow, but not boring — proper nice for a quiet evening.

Oh, that’s a proper wee dram, innit? 😄 Firs' thing I get is lovely caramel an' vanilla, like a warm hug. Then a bit of smoke comes through, not too heavy, mind. 🍯 Tastes o' dark chocolate an' some dried fruit, maybe sultanas? A touch o’ spice too, cinnamon or summat. Quite rich, it is. Finish is long an' smooth, wi' a hint o’ leather an' oak. Leaves a lovely warmth. 👌 Right nice, this. 🥃

Right, first sip—kinda hits you with this wam honey 'n spice thing? 🍯 Got a bit of smoke in the back, like a distant bonfire on the moors. Quite moorish, actually. Finish is long, a touch of dried fruit maybe, lingers nicely. 👍 Could sip this all evning.
